Summary of Analysis
1.Our original contract with Electrical Support Serviceswas in 2011.
2.Since 2015 subsequent increases have been made tobring the fee from $25.00 to $30.00 per
inspection.
3.We propose a $2.50 per inspection increase to beginafter approval from the City Council for the
remainder of the 2021 fiscal year and continuing forthe 2022 fiscal year.
4.We propose an additional 2.50 increase for the 2023fiscal year.
5.Electrical Support Services provides daily inspectionservices.
6.Electrical Support Services works with the City ofAmmon to reduce inspection fees in apartment
and townhome developments.
Financial Impact
oWe have enough additional monies in the current budgetto instigate the $2.50 increase
per inspection for the remainder of this fiscal year.
oThese fee increases are covered by the permit feescollected from electrical permits.
