The meeting was called to order by Chairman Tom Hunsaker at 7:08 p.m. in the City Building at 2135 South Ammon
Road, Ammon, Idaho. Scott Wessel led the Pledge of Allegiance.
MINUTES:
Nov. 5, 2008:Steve Richards motioned to accept the minutes with minor grammatical changes. Greg
Maeser seconded. All in favor – the motioned passed.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
None
ACTION ITEMS:
A. Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman:
Steve Richards nominated Tom Hunsaker as the Planning & Zoning Chairperson, Dave Hill seconded. No
other nominations were made. All in favor – the motion passed.
Dave Hill nominated Cindy Donovan as Planning & Zoning Vice-Chairperson, Greg Maeser seconded. No
other nominations were made. All in favor – the motion passed.

DISCUSSION ITEMS:
A. Title X Proposed Changes:
Tabled for the Work Session.
B. Ron report on Land Use Law Seminar:
Ron Folsom reported that he had attended a Land Use Seminar
in Boise and discussed various items from the seminar with the Commission.
C. Misc:
Ron Folsom announced that Richard Jaussi had tendered his resignation from the P & Z

Commission. The Mayor and City Council would vote on his replacement January 8. Scott Wessel, Cindy Donavan,
and Greg Maeser have agreed to accept another term on the Planning and Zoning Commission, their names will be
th
submitted by the Mayor for reappointment at the January 8 City Council meeting.
REPORTS:
A. City Council Actions:
Ron Folsom gave the City Council report concerning various items from the
December sessions.
B. City of Idaho Falls Planning and Zoning Actions – Cindy Donovan:
Cindy Donovan had nothing to
report.
C. Bonneville County Planning and Zoning Actions – Tom Hunsaker:
Tom Hunsaker reviewed the

Bonneville County Planning & Zoning meeting from November 19.
CALL FOR ADJOURNMENT:
Scott Wessel moved, and Greg Maeser seconded to adjourn the meeting. All in favor-the motion passed. The
Commission moved into a work session to review the proposed changes to Title 10.
The meeting adjourned at 8:11 p.m.
