PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
December 4,2001
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission:
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Greg Maeser at 6:35 p.m. in the City Building at
2135 South Ammon Road, Ammon, Idaho.

Randy Waite led the Pledge of Allegiance to the nag.

First item on the agenda was the Preliminary and Final Plat Briarwood Division #S which
was presented by Casey Dennert of Benton Engineering. Greg Maeser asked to confirm if this
was a Preliminary and Final or just a final. Tom reminded the Commission that this preliminary
had been denied twice before and then Divisions 3 & 4 were approved separately over various
months. Kevin asked why it was denied before. Tom said that is was mainly because of how
John Adams was shown to tie in. There was some discussion about John Adams Parkway and
how it .was to line up with what is proposed with further divisions. Kevin Murray recommended
Approval of Briarwood Division #5 as presented. Ron Folsom seconded the motion. Voting
was all in favor. The motion carried.
.' There was. some discussion about the January meeting because the first Tuesday falls on New
.. Years Day. It was decided to not hold a January meeting and on January 8th there will be the
. Appreciation Dinner. .
Ira Hall reported on the City Council actions.
Kevin Murray reported on Bonneville County Planning and Zoning actions.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30.
