Planning Minutes 05/02/2000 CITY OF AMMON PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION May 2, 2000 . The minutes of the regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Greg Maeser at 6:35 p.m. in the City Building at 2135 South Ammon Road, Ammon, Idaho. MEMBERS PRESENT: Greg Maeser, Chairman Tom Hunsaker Karen Anderson, Vice-Chairman Elaine McGary Ron Folsom Randy Waite Kevin Murray MEMBERS ABSENT: Maxine Hardy Dick Bybee CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT Ira K. Hall, Councilmember Aleen C. Jensen, City Clerk DavidWadsworth, PublicWorks Dir. . OTHERS PRESENT: Cindy Donovan Peggy Willis Nancy Willis Tim Willis Tom Hunsaker led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. The minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission meetings held March 7, and April 4, 2000, were reviewed. On the minutes of March 7, Tom Hunsaker corrected page 2, paragraph 2, line I to eliminate the second "required". On page 5, paragraph 3 there was a question about whether or not Robert Meikle or Alan Cunningham explained the replat of Ricks Farm. It was agreed to correct the minutes to read, "a representative of Mountain River Engineering explained." In the last paragraph on page 5 the three sentences following the sentence beginning "Tom Hunsaker recommended" should be changed to read "Tom Hunsaker asked if the area should be divided so each lot is only one zone. The developer stated some lots straddle zones but will follow the requirement of the stricter zone. There will also be single family dwellings built in the R-l A zone." On page 6, next to the last paragraph, complete the sentence beginning "The density approved" to read, "The density approved was 4.5 per acre and the proposed R-2 area was approved to be zoned R-lA for the condominiums and Co] for the day care center." Tom Hunsaker moved to approve the minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting held March 7, 2000, as amended. The motion was seconded by Ron Folsom. Voting was unanimous in favor. The motion carried. . Regarding the minutes for April 4, 2000, Karen Anderson recommended striking the sentence "The Comprehensive Plan is not an advertisement for the City" in the paragraph on page 3 pertaining to the Comprehensive Plan.
