CITY OF AMMON PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION June I, 1999 Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Kevin Murray at 6:30 p.m. in the City Building at 2135 South Ammon Road, Ammon, Idaho. MEMBERS PRESENT: Kevin Murray, Chairman Dick Bybee Ron Folsom, Vice Chairman Elaine McGary Greg Maeser Tom Hunsaker Randy Waite Maxine Hardy Karen Anderson Bruce Ard, Mayor Ira Hall, Councilmember Bill Manwill, City Engineer CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Deon Cole, Deputy Clerk David Wadsworth, Public Works OTHERS PRESENT: . Karen Anderson led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. The Commission reviewed the minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting held May 4, 1999. Councilman Ira Hall corrected his report regarding the sewer discussion. The minutes should read: "There was discussion about the sewer in connection with the City of Idaho Falls on the north end of the City of Ammon. They also discussed extension of the sewer pressure line to serve Centennial Ranch and east of the railroad tracks down to where it needs to hook in at the end of the Karford property." Greg Maeser pointed out that the word "sub" should be changed to "stub" on page 2, paragraph 7, on line 13. Karen Anderson brought to the attention of the Commission that there was an error in her motion. She wanted a correction in the motion on the last line of page 2 to read "travel trailer courts" rather than "mobile home courts." Tom recommended some wording changes. Change "each" to "an" on page 3, paragraph 3 on line 4. On page 3, paragraph 3, on lines 7 and 8 change "sideyard shall be a minimum of20 ft" to "setback of not less than 20 ft is permitted on the side street." Dick Bybee moved to approve the minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting held May 4, 1999, as corrected. Ron Folsom seconded the motion. Voting was unanimous in favor. City Councilman Ira Hall reported to the Commission on the City Council Meeting. The sewer line was resolved as far as Centennial Ranch. Iona Bonneville Sewer District will run a pressure . line to the lift station, which is just on the comer of Centennial Ranch and 17'h Street. City of
