'. i CITY OF AMMON PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION October 6, 1998 Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Kevin Murray at 6:30 P.M. in the City Bui]ding, 2135 South Ammon Road, Ammon, Idaho. MEMBERS PRESENT: Kevin Murray, Chairman Dick Bybee Ron Folsom, Vice Chairman Elaine McGary Greg Maeser Karen Anderson Randy Waite Maxine Hardy Kirt Hillam CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Barbara J. Ellis, Deputy Clerk David Wadsworth, Public Works Bruce Ard, Mayor Bill Manwill, City Engineer OTHERS PRESENT: Larry Ashment Ruley McGavin Ben A. Frei Laraine Sant Jerry Mitchell Kim H. Leavitt Hazen & Guila Olsen Earl & Linda Cleverly Phyllis A. Ker Robert Beck Thomas & Dorinda Hopkins LeMoyne & Bobbi Johnston Blaine Womer Michael Reese Michael Wright Tom Arave Dick & Arlene Coon Leslie Fo]som Ron Folsom led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Dick Bybee moved to approve the September I, 1998 minutes. Ron Folsom seconded the motion and they were approved by the unanimous vote of the commission. Kevin Murray reported on activities of the Bonneville County Planning and Zoning Commission. Mayor Bruce Ard reported on the previous City Council meeting. At 6:35 Chairman Kevin Murray and Vice-Chairman Ron Folsom declared conflict of interest and Greg Maeser opened the Public Hearing for Ashment (Leslie Folsom) - request for Rezone from Co] to HC-] of property lying West of Tie Breaker E]ementary Schoo], North of] sl Street and East of Sand Creek. Notice of Hearing was published in the Post Register on Sep 2], and Sep 24, ]998. Property owners within three hundred feet (300') were mailed notices of the hearing. Greg Maeser swore in parties interested in presenting testimony. Garth Cunningham - Mt. River Engineering represented the owners of the Ashment Property and described the property location as north of First Street, east of Sand Creek, and west of Fox Hollow Subdivision. The purpose for the rezone is to allow the option to have a drive-through restaurant at a future time.
