Kevin Murray presented the minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting held Oct 7, 1997 for approval and voting was unanimous in favor. They were approved as written. The first item of business was a review of Bonneville County Plat for Black Hawk Subdivision - Kim Leavitt/Matt Morgan, a plat within the City of Ammon impact area. The location is near the intersection of 45lh East and 49th South. Dick Bybee made a motion to recommend approval to the City Council and Ron Folsom seconded the motion. The voting was unanimous in favor. The motion carried. The second item of business was application for a variance in Stonehaven Division 2, lots 13, 14, & 15. Jay Johnson discussed plans for Courtyard Circle changing the cul-de-sac plan from three (3) lots to five (5) lots, which would include the original three (3) two-unit townhouses and an additional two (2) single family dwellings. He explained that each unit would probably only house one to two people, would eliminate the larger yards, and enhance the area. Dick Bybee stated that it would change the plot plan on the whole cul-de-sac. He also questioned placement of the garages. Chairman Murray suggested there might be a resale problem due to the garage designs. Ron Folsom stated that for the record, Jay's request does not meet the qualifications for a variance and he moved to deny recommendation for a variance in Stonehaven Division 2, lots 13,14, & 15, to the Board of Adjustments because of the eighty-foot frontage requirement. Dick Bybee seconded the motion. Voting was unanimous. The motion was denied.
