The minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting held June 10, 1997 were presented for approval. Ron Folsom moved to approve the minutes of June 10, 1997 as written without change and Elaine McGary seconded the motion. The voting was unanimous in favor. The motion carried. The first item of business was setback interpretation of Stonehaven Division No.1 - Ron Folsom. The concern was the houses constructed on the west side of Stonehaven Drive would require front yard setbacks of thirty (30) feet from the street, and Stonehaven Drive would be the sideyard for the townhouses which would face the courtyard streets. After reading the Codified Ordinance 10-15-5, it was determined that on a side street where a maximum of two (2) lots face the street, a setback of not less than fifteen (15) would be needed. The corner lot #27 would need to have setbacks of thirty (30) feet as also provided in Ordinance 10-15-5. It was suggested that members of the commission study the area and other similar situations and be prepared to discuss them at the next Planning and Zoning meeting. . The second item of business was a request for sideyard variance for Wayne Hansen, 3785 Geneva, to allow him to build a single car garage on the west side of his house.
