Planning and Zoning Commission:

The Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was led by Ron Folsom.
The minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting held
April 2, 1996, were presented for approval. Ron Folsom moved
to approve the minutes of April 2, 1996, as written, and the
motion was seconded by Kevin Murray. The voting was unanimous
in favor. The motion carried.
Chairman Mark Scrogham opened the Public Hearing to consider
the request for annexation and initial zoning of Fox Hollow
Division No.2. Notice of Hearing was published in the Post
Register on April 19 and 26, 1996. Property owners within three
hundred feet (300') were mailed notices of hearing. Parties
in interest who desired to testify were sworn in.
Garth Cunningham of Mountain River Engineering explained that
the developer is requesting that Fox Hollow Division No. 2 be
annexed to the City of Ammon with an initial zone of R-l. The
final plat was introduced, and it is basically the same as the
plat approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission on April
2, 1996, as an Amended Preliminary Plat. The final plat
contains more details.
Ron Folsom called attention to the street layout where Lawndale
Estates and Fox Hollow Division No. 2 join. The plat for Fox
Hollow names the street Hollow Drive, and it connects with a
street named Rachel Avenue on the Lawndale plat. It is
important to have consistency in the street name.
