Planning Minutes 04/02/1996 CITY OF AMMON PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION April 2, 1996 . Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Mark Scrogham at 7:30 P. M. in the City Building, 2135 South Ammon Road, Ammon, Idaho. MEMBERS PRESENT: Mark Scrogham, Chairman Roger Stommel, Vice Chairman Russell Bennion Dick Bybee Ron Folsom Kirt Hillam Kevin Murray Elaine McGary MEMBERS ABSENT: Dixie Cut forth CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Ira K. Hall, Councilmember David Wadsworth, Public Works David Benton, Engineer Aleen C. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Chairman Mark Scrogham welcomed the Commission. Flag was led by Dick Bybee. Kirt Hillam as a new member of The minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting held March 5, 1996, were presented for approval. Vice Chairman Roger Stommel moved to approve the minutes of March 5, 1996, as written, and the motion was seconded by Ron Folsom. The voting was unanimous in favor. The motion carried. The first item of business was a request presented by Garth Cunningham of Mountain River Engineering for an Amended Preliminary Plat of Fox Hollow Subdivision. The original preliminary plat was approved prior to annexation and initial zoning of Fox Hollow Division No. 1. The portion of Division No. 1 property which is zoned R-l has been built, and Skidmore Inc., the developer, desires to continue with the remainder of the subdivision. Amendment of the preliminary plat is necessary because there have been property changes. The northeast corner of the property has been sold to the L.D.S. Church for a proposed church building. Also, there have been changes to increase the size of some of the lots. The request is for preliminary plat approval subsequent to a proposal by the developer for the Planning and Zoning Commission to conduct a Public Hearing at the next meeting to consider annexation, initial zoning, and final plat of Fox Hollow Division No.2. . The request was opened for discussion, and the amended plat was reviewed in detail. Lot 9 Block 4 is too small for a building lot. Lot 23 Block 4 has a similar problem. Lot 9 needs to go with either Lot B Block 4 Division No. 1 or Lot 10 Block 4 Division No.2. A piece of Lot 23 Block 4 Division No. 1 has
