Planning Minutes 09/05/1995 . I CITY OF AMMON PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION September 5, 1995 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Mark Scrogham. The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Chairman Scrogham. OFFICIALS PRESENT Carol Ragan, Deputy Clerk David Wadsworth, PWD MEMBERS ABSENT Kathy Dansie Dixie Cutforth Ron Folsom Roger Stommel Dick Bybee Brian Taylor MEMBERS PRESENT Mark Scrogham, Chairman Jim Southwick Elaine McGary OTHERS PRESENT Richard Dare, Mountain River Engineering Jay Johnson, 2125 Cabellaro Drive, Ammon, 10 The first item of business was the First Amended Plat including a replat of Lots 6-A, 6-B, 7-A, 8, 9 and 10, Block 1 of Ammon Town Center, Division No.1. There was no action due to the absence of a quorum. . The second item of business concerned that property located on S. Ammon Rd. known as the First Amended Plat of Pony Acres Addition, Division No.1, being a replat of Lot 1, Block 1 less the South 160 feet of Lot 1 as shown on the attached map. Mr. Johnson's inquiry was whether or not he could put condos on this property. After a brief discussion, it was suggested that he could put anything on the property that adhers to the zoning regulations of that zone. The lots concerned are 8 through 12 of Block 1. Mr. Johnson also asked about the possibility of annexing property on the South side of E. Sunnyside Rd. East of the railroad tracks with the purpose of putting a mobile home park there. Without a quorum, the commission took no action. . The Bonneville County Planning and Zoning Commission Report included the following: 1) Recommended approval of a request to amend the Comprehensive Plan from Agricultural to Commercial of 32 acres West of Interstate 15, South of Pancheri Drive and East of Skyline Drive. 2) Recommended approval of a use permit to develop a golf course on 140 acres on the Southwest corner of 65th South and 15th East (directly West of Sandy Downs Race Track). 3) Approved the Preliminary Plat of Sundial Subdivision, Division #2 in palisades area. 4) Approved the Preliminary Plat of Hansen Palisades Subdivision, Division #2, 7 miles from Alpine, Wyoming on U. S. Highway 26. 5) Approved Preliminary Plat of Riverside Ranch at Conant Valley, 103 lots, 360 acres lying between U.S. Highway 26 and the Snake River.
