Planning Minutes 03/07/1995 . CITY OF AMMON PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING AND REGULAR MEETING March 7, 1995 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Mark Scrogham at 7:30 P.M. The meeting was held at the Ammon City Building, 3270 Molen Street, Ammon, ID. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was led by Dixie Cutforth. Clerk OTHERS PRESENT Maxine Hardy, 3745 Georgia Lane, Ammon, ID Randy Skidmore, 5220 Cornish, Idaho Falls, ID Brett Skidmore, 5299 E. Skidmore Drive, Idaho Falls Dick Skidmore, 5490 E. Skidmore Drive, Idaho Falls Steve Marano, 4976 E. 49 S., Idaho Falls David Lyman, 1445 N. Woodruff, Idaho Falls R. Tod Murray, Valley Care Center, 2725 E. 17th, Ammon . The public hearing was then opened, which was a request by Dick Skidmore to rezone from R-l to C-l that property located directly behind 3400 E. Sunnyside Rd. (see attached legal description) Chairman Scrogham asked for those wishing to testify to stand and be sworn in. Maxine Hardy and Randy Skidmore were then sworn in. The Chair then asked Mrs. Hardy to explain the request. She stated that as owner of Idaho Traffic Safety, 3400 E. Sunnyside, it would improve this business to have additional property. She further stated the property owned by Skidmore lay adjacent to theirs comprising 2.36 acres. If the City was willing to rezone this property to C-l then Idaho Traffic Safety could purchase it. Chairman Scrogham asked if discussion. There was none, therefore and opened the regular meeting.
