Planning Minutes 02/07/1995 . CITY OF AMMON PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING AND REGULAR MEETING February 7, 1995 The meeting was called to order at 7: 30 P.M. by Chairman Dick Bybee. It was held at the Ammon City Building, 3270 Molen Street. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was led by Dixie Cutforth. MEMBERS PRESENT Dick Bybee, Chairman Dixie Cutforth, Vice-chairman Jim Southwick Brian Taylor Kathy Dansie Roger Stommel Mark Scrogham Elaine McGary (arrived 8:10) MEMBERS ABSENT Ron Folsom OFFICIALS PRESENT David Wadsworth, PWD Greg Maeser, Councilman Carol Ragan, Deputy Clerk OTHERS PRESENT Randy Skidmore, 5220 Cornish Drive, Idaho Falls, ID Maxine Hardy, 3745 Georgia Lane, Ammon, ID Jay Johnson, 2125 Cabellaro Drive, Ammon, ID . The public hearing was opened which addressed a request by Cantlon Properties to rezone from C-l to HC-l property located at 2590 E. 17th Street. There was no one present to make any inquiries, therefore the hearing was closed and the regular meeting opened. The Minutes of January 3, 1995 were presented for approval. Jim Southwick motioned they be approved as written. Kathy Dansie seconded the motion. Voting was unanimous. The motion carried. The first item of business was action on the public hearing. The commission stated they had no problems with the request as it was logical all property have the same zone. Jim Southwick motioned to recommend to the City Council approval of the request to rezone that property described in the attached legal, known as 2590 E. 17th Street, from C-l to HC-l. Brian Taylor seconded the motion. Voting was unanimous. The motion carried. The second item of business was an inquiry from LaRall Kent dba Natural Energy Systems. It was tabled due to the absence of Mr. Kent. . The third item Hillview Apartments, (2260 and 2230 S. construct additional of business was from Jay Johnson dba Lot 29 & 30, Block 2, Ammon Meadows Div. '2 Ammon Rd). He requested permission to garages in front of the apartments.
