CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Rick Butler at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall building located at
2135 South Ammon Road, Ammon, Idaho. Tom Hunsaker led the Pledge of Allegiance.
MINUTES: July 3, 2013:
Commissioner Robert Taylor moved to accept the minutes, as presented. Commissioner Cindy Donovan
seconded the motion. All in favor - the motion passed.

DISCUSSION ITEMS:
1. Multi-Use Zoning:
Ron talked explained Multi-Use zones and how it could help us and how this was what was
happening twenty years ago. By having a multi-use there is a possibility of it taking care of some of the problems we have run into
with home occupations. There could also just be a change in the RSC zone to allow loft style apartments over or attached to a
commercial building. As the discussion ensued it was determined that rather than moving forward with a multi-use zone the
Commission would work on enhancing the RSC Zone to make it fit with some of the intents of the multi-use but still have the controls
of the current zoning the City uses.
REPORTS:
1.City Council Actions -
Ron reported on the City Council meetings for the month of July.
2. City of Idaho Falls Planning and Zoning Actions
– Cindy Donovan reported working on a plat south of Sunnyside.
3. Bonneville County Planning and ZoningActions
– Tom Hunsaker told about Bonneville County’s proposed comp plan
changes.
Call for Adjournment:
Commissioner Robert Taylor moved for adjournment Commissioner Cindy Donovan seconded the motion.
All in favor – the motion passed.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
