CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Scott Wessel at 7:00 p.m. in the City Building
located at 2135 South Ammon Road. Tom Hunsaker led the Pledge of Allegiance.

MINUTES: May 16, 2012:
Commissioner Tom Hunsaker move to accept the minutes, as presented. Commissioner Cindy
Donovan seconded the motion. All in favor – the motion passed.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
None
ACTION ITEMS:
1. Site Plan - 3790 Sunnyside – Sunnyside Automotive:
Ron explained where the property is located, and said
Sunnyside Automotive will be required to provide a 30 foot landscape strip along Sunnyside Road. Lance has said that they will be
allowed two entrances off of Sunnyside Road.
Roger Sheehy, 3790 East Sunnyside Road said the depth of the lot is 457 feet, and that he will be taking out the existing north
building and adding to the building located behind it. The canal will be moved to the perimeter of the property. Roger said he will
comply with all requirements.

Commissioner Steve Richards moved to approve the site plan subject to technical review by City of Ammon staff, and
subject to showing the 30 foot landscape strip. Commissioner Robert Taylor seconded the motion. All in favor – the motion passed.
DISCUSSION ITEMS:
1.Begin review of Title 10 – Distribution of hard copies:
Ron handed out Title 10 booklets marked with
potential changes, a list of potential additional changes, and a list of questions, and asked each Commissioner to review these plus
recommend any other changes. Ron would like to review these potential changes possibly next month.
REPORTS:
1. City Council Actions -
Ron explained what happened in the Council meetings for the month of June.
2. City of Idaho Falls Planning and Zoning Actions –
Cindy Donovan had nothing to report.
3. Bonneville County Planning and Zoning Actions–
Tom Hunsaker reported the Bonneville County Planning and Zoning
recommended approval of a preliminary plat for property located near the City of Irwin, and held a public hearing concerning
rezoning property located adjacent to Dad’s truck stop.
Call for Adjournment:
Commissioner Rick Butler moved to adjourn. Commissioner Steve Richards seconded the motion. All in
favor – the motion passed.
The meeting adjourned at 8:32 p.m.
