MINUTES
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Scott Wessel at 7:00 p.m. in the City Building at 2135 South Ammon Road,
Ammon, Idaho. Rick Butler led the Pledge of Allegiance.

MINUTES:
December 7, 2011 and January 4, 2012: Commissioner Tom Hunsaker moved to approve the minutes for
December 7, 2011 as presented. Commissioner Quinn Simmons seconded the motion. All in favor – the motion passed. Tom
Hunsaker moved to approve the minutes for Jan 4, 2012 as presented. Cindy Donovan seconded the motion. All in favor – the motion
passed.

1. Site Plan – 1478 Trellis Lane:
Ron explains where the property is located. This piece of property has 120 foot frontage
and is 130 feet deep. A formal arrangement has been made for parking to be located on adjacent land that belongs to Intermountain
Erectors. Commissioner Quinn Simmons moved to approve the site plan subject to technical review by staff. Commissioner Rick
Butler seconded the motion. All in favor - the motion passed.
DISCUSSION ITEMS:
1. Comprehensive Plan Draft and Map:
Ron reported the comprehensive plan draft and map were on the agenda for Ciy
Council’s work meeting scheduled February 9th.
REPORTS:
1.City Council Actions
- Ron explained what happened in Council in January, including swearing in one new and two re-
elected Council members.
2. City of Idaho Falls Planning and Zoning Actions –
Cindy Donovan had no report.
3.Bonneville County Planning and Zoning Actions –
Tom Hunsaker: reported on the Bonneville Fire Protection District
Number 1’s request to rezone the land where their old fire station was located on Lincoln Road, a little east of Woodruff Avenue, from
residential to commercial.

Tom Hunsaker moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:35 p.m. Rick Butler seconded the motion. All in favor –
the motion passed.
The meeting adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
