Re: Robertson Annexation
Message:
In regards to the water resources in supplying water to the Robertson’s property,
the City recently passed an ordinance requiring all new subdivisions being annexed into the City
will have pressurized irrigation installed for the purpose of watering yards and not using culinary
water pumped out of the ground. With this ordinance the demand on the culinary water system
is very minimum. An additional study that Keller Associates performed after the passing of the
ordination showed that the system has the capacity to add almost 7,000 more homes and stay
under the water rights. With this information I determined that we could adequately supply the
Robertson’s property.
