03.09.2022 Traffic Commission MinutesMinutes Traffic Commission Wednesday, March 9, 2022 Call to Order: Micah Austin, City Administrator at 9:04 a.m. In Attendance: Micah Austin, Tracy Bono, Cindy Donovan, Clarissa Mueller, Sgt. Fielding Minutes: February 9, 2022-Approved Citizens’ Requests: 21st St crosswalks: Is there a possibility of putting in signs that could be lit like the ones near EIRMC? Discussed installing rapid flashing beacons at the crosswalk at Castelli/21st. M.Stewart will look up what criteria needs to be met and if the crosswalk falls within the parameters. She will also look into the cost and what it would take to install them. Street Division Updates: T. Bono-Repairing street lights. He is requesting GIS data to determine which lights we are responsible for. They are putting up street signs and replacing those that are spelled wrong. Repairing potholes. Action Items: None at this time Updates: Eagle Dr.-Additional signage needs put up. A traffic count will be done the 1st or 2nd week in April. Item will be on May’s agenda. Stop sign dimensions in Bridgewater-They meet the MUTCD standards for small Stop signs. Speeding issue on Windsor-Speed trailer is not yet up. Sgt. Fielding will get a deputy over to give out needed citations. Discussion Items: White Pines-J. Bailey has reached out to us for more info. They are actively trying to make improvements. It is still a problem but is not as bad as it was. No action. Tiebreaker School Traffic-Traffic is backing up onto 1st St. during the afternoon student pick up. T. Bono will follow up with J. Pymm and give an update at our April meeting. C. Mueller received a complaint regarding glass and bolts in the gutter at 2260 Bittern. The property is vacant. T.Bono will take a look at it.
