Call to Order: Micah Austin, City Administrator
In Attendance: Micah Austin, Cindy Donovan, Clarissa Mueller
Excused: Tracy Bono, Sgt. Fielding
Minutes: November 10, 2021-Approved
Citizens’ Requests:
Add new or different/additional signs at the crosswalk on 21st Street near Castelli. Resident was in attendance to go over concerns and possible solutions. M. Stewart will call ITS
to repaint the current crosswalk and paint the new one. It has to be 50 degrees however.
Speeding in the Windsor/Briar Creek area.-Discussed and decided to put speed trailer back up. Ask the sheriff’s office to put their trailer out on Windsor for a few days.
Street Division Updates: T. Bono- Rawson will be done. Landscaping will take place in the spring.
Action Items:
Safety concerns on Tie Breaker-Need T. Bono’s input. No action was taken. On the next agenda.
Restrict parking on Princess Drive (requested by Mountain Valley Elementary)-No action
Sign locations at Founder Pointe intersection-Stop signs should be moved to stop traffic going the opposite way. Motion passed
20 mph on 21st in school zone all the time-Action Item in January.
Updates:
Eagle Dr.- Council not interested in one-way streets. Put up Local Traffic Only sign north across bridge. Put sign up and do another traffic count in a week or two.
Stop sign moved to Sawtooth-moved to next meeting
White Pine Charter School’s violation of their conditional use permit.- C. Donovan emailed them that they really need to get traffic issues resolved. Staff was said to be out helping
but that is not happening. They have lengthened the lane. Their Board is working on a plan. Encouraged Jeanne Bailey who is on
the board and also an engineer to work with them. We will continue to work with them but they need to meet with us. No action today
Do Not Block Intersection signs on John Adams/Katie Ct. (See above)
Second crosswalk at Castelli/21st St-Has already been talked about.
Discussion Items:
Mayor Coletti- Repair Stop signs on Ammon/49th. Put Speed signs on Judy asap.
