06.9.2021 Traffic Commission MinutesMinutes Traffic Commission Wednesday, June 9, 2021 Call to Order: Micah Austin, City Administrator Minutes: May 12, 2021: Approved In Attendance: M. Austin, T. Bono, C. Donovan, J. Clapp, C. Mueller Citizens’ Requests: Ross/Geneva: People are running the stop sign. Requesting a flashing STOP sign or speed bump. Previously discussed, decided that no action would be taken. Discussed again, appropriate signage? No change will be made. The SCOUT unit will be put up to collect data. Eagle Drive traffic control measures: Too much traffic and traveling too fast. Possible solutions were discussed. Cameras will be put up at various intersections starting at Salmon. This takes priority over Ross/Geneva. Street Division Updates: T. Bono and J. Clapp: Trimming weeds in right-of-ways and routine maintenance. Rosedale and Aspen will be paved in August. Paving, curb and gutter for Rawson in September. T. Bono is in the process of bidding them out. Action Items: None at this time. Updates: Stop sign at Cross/Hollow: It is up on the east side, one on the west side is needed. Hollow will go straight through with no STOP signs. Speed signs on Judy: Put up electronic speed signs. Speed limit sign on Sunnyside near Broulims: Completed Discussion Items: First St. Bridge: T. Bono is working with LHTAC to get the rail fixed. Good to Go: Not a traffic issue.
