November 9, 1995
Minutes of the Special Meeting of the Mayor and City Council:
The meeting was called to order by Mayor C. Bruce Ard at 7: 30 P.M. at the City
Building, 3270 Molen Street, Ammon, Idaho, with the following City Officials
present:
Mayor C. Bruce Ard
Councilman Ira K. Hall
Councilman Steven J. Loveland
Councilman Greg J. Maeser
City Clerk Aleen C. Jensen
Others present:
Bobbie Jockumsen, Bonneville County Election Office
Bob Jockumsen
Absent: Councilman Harvey L. Crandall
The purpose of the Special Meeting was to canvas the votes of the City of Ammon
Municipal Election held Tuesday, November 7, 1995, at the Sandcreek Middle School.
Bobbie Jockumsen of the Bonneville County Election Office explained the Poll Books
for Precinct 98 which was divided into two sections--Precinct 98A (registered
voters A through K) and Precinct 98B (registered voters L through Z), unofficial
final election results, and the spread sheets prepared from the results. Mayor
Ard and the Council Members reviewed the election materials in detail and checked
the tabulation figures.
Councilman Maeser moved to accept the November 7, 1995, election results tally as
presented and to declare the election results final. The motion was seconded by
Councilman Hall. Roll call vote: Maeser - Yes; Hall - Yes; Loveland - Yes. The
motion carried. Three copies of the "Canvass Audit Spread Sheet" for City of Ammon
were signed by Mayor Bruce Ard, Councilman Steven J. Loveland, and Councilman Greg
J. Maeser. Councilman Hall was present during the canvas but did not sign the
spread sheet because he had surgery on his right hand and did not try to legibly
sign with his left hand.

A copy of the signed spread sheet is attached to these minutes.
Mayor Ard asked for Council input regarding the purchase of an additional radio
base station for the new City Building. No decision was made, but the need was
questioned. More follow-up is needed.
Councilman Hall moved to adjourn the meeting, and the motion was seconded by
Councilman Loveland. The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 P.M.
