Counci an Richardson moved that instead of contractors setting the cost of their
propos d construction for securing building permits, that we use the same method as
the Cit of Idaho Falls, that is by the square-foot method: $15.00 per square foot for
dwellin s, $7.50 per square foot for attached garages and finished basements, and
$3.00 r square foot for carports; then after establishing valuation, use the same
figures for determining permit fees as we have been using. Seconded by Councilman
Swense . Voting all in favor; motion carried. (This fee will not include the build-
ing ins ection fee, etc.)
