After some discussion the City Council approved the work order system be re- established and followed up beginning February 15, 1966. Mayor Mel Richardson reported the tabulation on the recent survey has not been completed. The City employees were ask to made a list of their respective job descriptions. The 1966 Budget f~r the 1966 year was reviewed and postponed until a special Council Meeting would be held Monday, February 21, 1966. Meeting adjourned at 2 AM. APPROVED /P/~r /~ / 9~ 6 ~ITYCLERK Special Meeting held by the Ammon City Council February 21, 1966. To complete 1966 budget. Meeting called to order by Mayor Mel Richardson at 8:10 PM. Prayer by Councilman Leo Heer. Those present were Mayor Richardson, Councilmen Keith Brown, George Wehmann, Roy Southwick and Leo Heer. Mayor Richardson read a report on Liquor and Hiway revenue obtained from the State. Liquor Report: City of Ammon will receive as liquor revenue $1933.15 per quarter based on 1 million dollar sales for the first two quarters. Balance of year will depend on sales tax out come. Hiway Report based on per capita at $4.50 each. Total amount of $9001.15. Which includes an increase of $2646.00 because of new increase in population as of 1965 Special Census count. Most of the meeting was spent in disussing and planning the 1966 Budget. The new proposed Budget was set at $13,350.00. Councilman George Wehmann made a motion the City of Ammon adopt the amount of $15,350.00 as the 1966 budget. Motion seconded by Councilman Roy Sowthwick. Motion aarried. City Attorney Joe Anderson will publish the budget and notice of hearing to be held at the next Council Meeting. March 14, 1966. Meeting will be held at 8 PM in the City Hall. The budget approation and ordinance 113 will be ready for adoption at the same meeting. Mayor Richardson informed the Council that the principal of the Hillview School had called stating they were having dog problems and are sending letters ham. with the students asking the parents to take care of their dogs. laVern Williams was ask to check for dogs around the school and pick up those he-can. First order of business was the reading of the Amaual ippropraition Budget Ordinance by Mayor Mel Richardson. After the reading the Mayor called for discussion or comment. No discussion. Councilman Keith Brown made a motion the Annual Appropiation Ordinance be approved and accepted as read wavering the 2nd and 3rd readings. Seconded by Coundilman George Wehmann. Motion carried.
