Special Meeting and dinner held at the Skylark Cafe, Idaho Falls
January 3, 19f:A
Present were Mayor Molen and wife; Councilmen Harold Loveland, Roland Romrell,
George Wehmann, Darrell Long and their wives; Attorney Joe Anderson and wife;
Auditor Lloyd Tatum and wife; Cha~rman of Planning Board Rex Budge and wife;
City Clerk Dermont Ricks and wife; LaVern Williams, Richard Ager, Jack Elling-
ford and their wives; and newly a ppointed councilman Dick ~'1heeler and his wife.

Mayor Molen called the dinner to order with prayer and blessing on the
food by Roland Romr.ell. Main Course was chicken and shrimp and all enjoyed
the meal. Councilman Keith Brown and wife were excused because of sickness.
Retiring Councilmen Roland Romrell and Darrell Long and Planning Board Chair-
man Rex Budge were all presented a book as a gift of appreciation for their
many years of service to the City of Ammon.
Mayor Molen was sworn in as new Mayor of the City of Ammon by City
Clerk Dermont E. Ricks. Councilmen Goerge Wehmann and Dick Wheeler were
sworn in by Dermont E. Ricks.

Attorney Joe Anderson was asked to read Ordinance #62 which pertains
to the new City zoning. Councilman Roland Romrell made a motion the City
adopt the new zoning map Ordinance and waive the first two readings as
presented by the Planning Board. Councilman Harold Loveland seconded the
motion and it carried.
Roland Romrell and Darrell Long were appointed to the City Planning
Board by Mayor Reed Molen.
Other general business was discussed and the meeting adjourned at
9:30 P.M.
