Special Meeting of the Ammon City Council
December 30, 1963
Meeting called to order by Mayor Reed Molen at 7:45 P.M.
Prayer by Councilman Harold Loveland.

Present: Mayor Reed Molen; Councilmen Harold Loveland, George Wehmann, and
newly elected councilmen Dick Wheeler and Keith Brown; Attorney Joe Anderson.
Pictures were taken for The Post-Register by Mr. Clinger of the New
City Council.
It was decided to have the burned out pump motor of Peterson Park well
rewound. Councilman Harold Loveland has a truck going to Salt Lake City and
will take the motor with him. The well will be out of service until the
motor is repaired.

Rex Budge, Chairman of the Planning Committee, presented to those present
the new City Zoning Map and discussed with them the zoning changes in the
City of Ammon.

Citizens present: Joe Kinny, Russell Swensen, Sterlin~ Cannon, Dale
Arave, Gerald Connell and Mrs. Walter Thomas, Mrs. Richard Ricks, Mr. and
Mrs. Ed Strobel.
There was no opposition to the map. Because of the lack of a. quorum
in attendance at the meeting, Councilman Harold Loveland made a motion for
the adoption of the new Zoning Map to be postponed until the next meeting
to be held January 3, 1964.
Notice was published by City Attorney Joe Anderson for a public hearing
for approval of the new Zoning Map.
