Council Minutes 02/09/1970 2'2(' ..) ~ / Meeting of our monthly meeting of the Ammon City Council was held February 9, 1970 at the Ammon L.ity Hall. Meeting convened at 7:30 P. M. Mayor Kershaw presided arid conducted. Prayer by C. Anderson. Mayor Kershaw stated that he had gone back over the proposed budget for the year 1970, and had made some minor changes in his figures. I Those present were Mayor Kershaw, C. Turnbow, C. Richardson, c~, :':,,,, r" !.C". C. Anderson, Clerk Jesse E. Bunnell, Auditor Alvin E. Hall, Keith Brown arrived at 8:00 P. M. After going over the proposed budget thoroughly--C. Turnbow Proposed that Norman Baker I.e lUr-ed::1tIl replace H. L. Cousin, effective as of Feb. 16th, 1970. The salary to be $450.00 plus Insurance, per month. Seconed by C. Richardson. The Clerk took a vote and it was unanimimous in favor. L" c..o ~ ~ .. ........ - C. Richardson made a motion that H. L. Cousin be given his 2 weeks . notice on Feb. 16, 1970. of mention to lay him off. Mr. Cousin will be given 2 weeks vacation pay plus 2 weeks expence pay. Motion was seconded by C. Swensen. A vote was taken by the Clerk and was affirmative. 0: CO The preliminary budget estimate for 1970 was an estimate of $119,928.00 and an estimated expendature of $118,176. OO--leaving an estimated surplus of $l~t'.o 0{) C. Swensen made a motion that the meeting be adjourned at 10:00 P. M. Seconded by C. Richardson. A vote was taken by Clerk Jesse E.
