To complete <br />1966 budget. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Mel Richardson at 8:10 PM. Prayer by <br />Councilman Leo Heer. These present were Mayor Richardson, Councilmen Keith <br />Brown, George Wehmann, Roy Southwick and Leo Heer. <br /> <br />Mayor Richardson read a report on Liquor and Hiway revenue obtained from the <br />State. <br />Liquor Report: <br />City of Ammon will receive as liquor revenue $1933.75 per quarter based <br />on 1 million dollar sales for the first two quarters. Balance of year will <br />depend on sales tax out come. <br />Hiway Report based on per capita at $4.50 each. Total amount of $9007.75. <br />Which includes an increase of $2646.00 because of new increase in population as <br />of 1965 Special Census count. <br /> <br />Most of the meeting was spent in disussing and planning the 1966 Budget. <br />The new proposed Budget was set at $73,350.00. Councilman George Wehmann made <br />a motion the City of Ammon adopt the amount of $75,350.00 as the 1966 budget. <br />Motion seconded by Councilman Roy Sowthwick. Motion earried. <br /> <br />City Attorney Joe Anderson will publish the budget and notice of hearing to <br />be held at the next Council Meeting. March 14, 1966. Meeting will be held <br />at 8 PM in the City Hall. The budget approation and ordinance #73 will be <br />ready for adoption at the same meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Richardson informed the Council that the principal of the Hillview School <br />had called stating they were having dog problems and are sending letters home <br />with the students asking the parents to take care of their dogs. Meeting <br />called to order at 8 PM by Mayor Mell Richardson. Prayer by Councilman Roy <br />Southwick. Those pre~Fnt we Mayor Mel Richardson, Councilmen Keith Brown, <br />George Wehmann, Leo Heer, Roy Southwick and citizens of Ammon. <br /> <br />First order of business was the reading of the Amaual ippropraition Budget <br />Ordinance by Mayor Mel Richardson. After the reading the Mayor called for <br />discussion or comment. No discussion. <br /> <br />Councilman Keith Brown made a motion the Annual Appropiation Ordinance be <br />approved and accepted as read wavering the 2nd and 3rd readings. <br />Seconded by Coundilman George Wehmann.
